So my son bought this pipe last time he was home on leave and forgot it. I decided to restore it for him. I don't have any before pictures. I started out with 200 grit paper to get all the crud off then 300, 600, 1000, and finally 1200 before finishing the bowl with beeswax. I used a paste wax on the stem, not quite what I hoped for, but it works.
