Anyone know much about this razor? I know bigbull purchased one and posted pics but does anyone else have any experience with this? I look at this razor at least once a day and am really tempted but I've only shaved 3 times w/a straight and I don't want to get in over my head. I currently have a Whipped Dog straight (1 use) and a GD (2 uses) and am, so far, enjoying it, but I'd hate to drop over $100 for something that I may end up regretting. I appreciate everyone's inputs on this.

It is what was know as a Bismark, a very nice shaving razor. They changed the razor a bit and changed its name. Jarrod will put a great edge on the razor before you get it.

Doc it right you are a fool to think we would talk you out of anything. But honestly just to save on shipping you should buy a coti and you'll need a slurry stone also, I like using rectangle coti's for hoing razors from scratch but I'm a big fan of using bout's for touch up's; they are challenging and for a little deposit of cash you can try all different veins of coticule...I think I have 7 different veins of bouts and then my 'normal coticules' also don't forget that its pretty hard to loose money on coticules you can pretty much always sell them for what you paid or close too it. And dont forget to buy a better strop for when you get better at stropping, I got mighty sick of my whipped dog mighty quick...see now your saving on postage...hope that helps make your decision!
