doubling up ? futur and a mergress

I already have a futur, just got a 39c and a 12c . . . is a mergress doubling up on the futur ?

also what others should I consider, I really only want new razors . . .

Having owned both, IMHO Mergress is a better razor than the Futur.

No, these two razors are not similar enough to be considered doubling up, in my book. The Futur is much bigger and the head geometry is also different.
