Does anybody know what this is?

I can find no markings on it at all.
The doors open by pinching the two levers on the back, and close together with a powerful spring inside.

The blade gets concaved when loaded.
Would this be for actually shaving legs with, or some other task like removing pilling from fabric?

I just attempted to shave with it.
The blade edge makes contact with the comb guard as part of it's inward bending, so any blade used in this is forever ruined for anything else.

It is impossible to cut yourself with this, as the comb guard extends farther than the blade edge. I know that's the case with any open comb razor, but that's with a convex curvature, this is concave.

So, no possible way to get a smooth shave. But, it does work very well for beard reduction, with no irritation since the blade never touches skin. I finished up with 1 pass ATG with my slant. Not the best shave. Not by a long shot.

I'm pretty convinced that this was never meant to shave with.

Whew, I am impressed you shaved with that thing. It does appear to be some type of tool for something. Hopefully someone will have some knowledge of it. Very cool.

Someone posted some diagrams about doing skin grafts with a DE, this looks like it could perform those effortlessly.

Dunno if that's why it was made, but if it was made for that, it seems like a brilliant little tool. Give it a try on your socks and let us know

With all the strange ladies razors out there - this one, the nymph, the ever huge myatt, the Curvfit - ladies must have been one hairy, poorly shaved bunch at one time!
