do you stick with one vendor or do your "share the love"

just curious, I feel like all the vendors here are so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly to all members...

how do do decide who to buy your "goods" from...?

In the spirit of entrepreneurship I wish I could "share the love" but putting together one big purchase often saves the shipping...

I order from a few different vendors mainly because I want to order everything in my current shopping cart from one person so im not paying a ton in shipping. Due to vendors have different products and one vendor may be out of stock of what I want I order from multiple vendors.

I shop around maily for UK vendors. I have bought abroad but only when the price plus postage is far cheaper. For me though I seem to come back to the same two or three vendors.

Malignant AD has allowed me to 'share the wealth' with multiple vendors in the US and abroad. I truly respect the professionalism and passion of all the vendors I have dealt with. I tend to choose a particular vendor based on the particular product I am in 'need' of, and will then add other items to optimize shipping. I am happy to support small vendors and tend to avoid impersonal large retailers, who are thankfully oblivious to the world of wet shaving.

We're very fortunate to have a bunch of first class vendors whether full time or hobbyist available to us and I try to give them all some business so they can stay in business. Haven't been disappointed yet, that says a lot for them!

I tend to sort of 'share the wealth' to some degree, but the proportion of sharing is disproportionate! I have a vendor who is geographically closer to me, which means things usually get to me sooner than other vendors, and consequently they usually have the best prices as well. But I have no problems going to another vendor if there is something that is significantly less expensive, or have something that I want that another vendor is out of stock. I have ordered from a few of the better known vendors on here, and all have offered great customer service.

I've purchased from most of the well-known vendors. Lately, I do find myself buying more and more from Connaughts in the UK. I also like dealing with BullGoose for his customer service and supersonic shipping. It's impossible to stick with just one store because none of the sellers carries everything I need.

I share the wealth with the idea that I want to keep as much of mine as I can. Service is important to me to the extent that I would eliminate from consideration vendors who have provided poor service in the past, but of those remaining I shop price.

I buy most of my stuff from the same vendor, West Coast Shaving, because of the great service, fair prices and loyalty.

makes the most sense...

do folks on here report poor customer service issues "out in the open", most of what I see is praise....

I really hate paying for shipping, so I try to make it work with just 1 vendor when I'm ready to buy. However, sometimes I have to use more than 1 vendor to find everything I want for the best price. Its a game.

I spread it around, more or less.

I have a small group of favorite vendors that get the bulk of my orders, but I'll not have a problem buying from others... I'm very impulsive.

I'll order from several, though I do have a favorite. As mentioned above we are lucky to have a number that are really enjoyable to do business with.

I have purchase from two vendors so far but see myself buying unique items like handmade soaps from small vendors.

I try to share but WCS see's a lot of my business. I have never waited more than 3 days for my orders from then.
