DIY brush stand

I've seen more than a few examples of DIY brush stands. I don't know why I can find any now. Is there a summary or list of all DIY brush stands that B&B members have posted?

I just got my new brush and don't yet have a stand that has a wide enough gap for the knot. So today with MacGyver like ingenuity I took a hair tie and a metal shower curtain ring—double wrapped the hair tie around the brush handle and slipped the shower ring into the outermost wrap and slid the whole apparatus onto my handtowel ring to dry.

I'm pretty sure you wanted this thread to be about more permanent solutions, but that's my DIY brush holder story.

I am just finishing a wooden razor brush stand holds three razors and two brushes plus some other things will post pictures after I get it polyed tomorrow.

A modified pipe stand--Brilliant! What a smart idea. I'll have to be on the lookout for such a stand and breakout my hole saws.

brilliant indeed! actually using one of my ole Calabresi Leather/wooden 6 pipe stands for my straight razors after seeing someone doing similar for his DE razors the other day.

It would have been easier to find a pipe stand but not as rewarding of doing it from scratch and my own design. I just need to buy a few more razors and brushes now. lol

Found some wood around the house and drilled a few holes. Gonna make another brush hole on the opposite side.

Two razor/brush stands = priceless!

I bought some plasti-dip to protect everything but they are quite functional as is.
