I like the looks of their Bill Bowl. Seems like it would make a good lather bowl, the ridges probably help create lather. Anyone have one of these?

I do in fact own one of these, but I'm considering promoting to one of her 1.5 scuttles in the near future. Mine was dropped and ended up cracking, but not breaking, and I used clay to put it back together. I do like it quite a lot, and the ridges really help in creating lather. I'll post pics if you would like me to, as well as lathering in it.

I don't know about the Bill Bowl...but I can vouch for the 1.5x DB scuttle. Julie is a true artist.

Please post some pics if you don't mind. I've been using re-purposed kitchen bowls thus far, it would be nice to have something specific for shaving. I'm also not sure whether I want the bowl or the scuttle.

I own a bill bowl and a brush scuttle. The bill boal is great. You hold it with your palm facing up and your thumb through the loop. The one thing i would change about it is the side walls. They angle in which is great for keeping the lather from coming over the edges; but they also trap some of the lather there. Still, I use it every day. I used the brush scuttle for two weeks after getting it. Now, I just use the bottom of it to soak my brush in prior to shaving. I may use the scuttle portion again when it gets cold out.

Got one from Julie but had it custom made as in the height is 2 inches.

Liked it so much I ordered two more which will be coming this week.

I have one and it works great for me. I usually face lather now but when I use a bowl, this is the best I've found. David's idea of getting one 2" deep is interesting and has me thinking.
