Different soaps for straights and DEs?

Anybody else find they like some soaps more for DE razors and others more for straights? i.e. I don't like using Mike's that much for DE shaving, but I love it with a straight. I also prefer D.R. Harris when I use a DE rather than a straight. At the very least it keeps me mixing things up and working my DE back into the mix since I was using nothing but the straight since February until I got the Harris.

Anybody else find some soaps more to their liking for one or the other? And which ones? And have any of you guys found a soap that you love with both types of razor?

I've found almost the same. For me all soaps seems to work with DE's, but with straights I prefer hardsoaps especially. With DE's I really like soft soaps.

For me there is a short list of soaps I like for safety razors and among those an even shorter list for straights.

I use all my soaps with DE, SE and Straight Razors. If I can't use it with all 3, it's no good. Usually, there's a way to make 95% of the soaps work well with all 3 without the need of superlather or uberlather.
