Won this vacumatic for cheap on the bay. Hope it's going to be in writing order or at least an easy fix. I'm sure it is a franken pen but that doesn't really bother me that much. Tell me what you think guys. Did I do good? and how hard should it be to fix? I'm still a little new to this so go easy on me

Nice pickup.. but it will most likely need to be restored and have the diaphragm replaced

But for 20 bucks to get a big smile on your face I'd say it was money well spent

I'm not sure... I've got one here I need done I've seen them on sites just didn't commit the price as I wasn't ready to send it out yet as I have another pen here I may also have to send... if no one here can give you an answer soon ill look back into it for you

But there is a chance it will be good to go, but from others most from ebay that are not sold as "restored" usually require it

I don't think the cap thing would bother me much as long as it fit snug and kept air out
