Just wondering, did ASR ever make Gold Plated razors? I'm pretty sure the Micromatics are brass, but what about the 1912's?
These were not made by ASR. The Op wanted to know if ASR made gold plated razors, I can only see the 60's Star as gold plated.A 1959 Push Button ad:

and here's an ad for the ever-ready 1924 that says it's gold plated, as well as the micromatic. This is the only ad that i've found with a name associated with the 1924, it says major razors under the photo. I have no idea where that name came from.
