This was in the case of a Gem 1912 I recently picked up. I couldn't find any info on this brand. Anyone know the approximate date these were made? Wikipedia has an entry for Kress Stores. They were a chain of five and dime stores.

Never heard of em, but that is a really cool looking blade package.

Kress was a chain of five and dime type stores-as I recall from my childhood-they usually had their own fancy buildings and were a big enough chain in its prime to have their own labled goods-like Sears, Walmart, Costco today. Dictator was their razor blade-DE and SE-it was made in USA-as were most things once upon a time-I don't know who made them. The main thing about Kress is the survival of many of their buildings and reuse by other clients.
