I just got one of these. Talk about stiff bristles. Its like a scrub brush. If it were any stiffer it would draw blood. But it's OK I really like the handle and I'm only out $5. I've been looking at a boar knot on Golden Nib. So I guess all's well that ends well flr me. Just be forewarned. I'm talking stiff.

is this the one on ebay that's advertised as faux badger?
The ad says real comfortable handle, but the brush is in the package in the picture so you can't see the handle much. Is the handle square or round? What is the material the handle is made of and what size knot do you think it would take? If you could take a picture of it and give the dimensions I would appreciate it.

This is the brush that they leave in the package and say that it has a comfortable handle. I like the handle. It is plastic and has four indentions on the side for your fingers, The run longways. I have already pulled the knot out and plan to fill it with acrylic and put a new knot fron Golden Nib in it.
How about some pictures? I want to do the same thing. Did the knot come out by pulling/twisting in a vise or did you have to drill it out? What size knot will the hole take? How deep did they set the old knot, did you need to drill it out some? Any help appreciated.
