Describe Beard then, and now.❓

Then 1960’s was thick, dark, grew uneven, swirl or circular growth were problem areas. Shaving good enough for work standards was tough.


Today 2024 beard is milder, grayish, milder, and easy to shave. Today shave is breeze.

Mine got more gray, wiry and tougher since starting DE shaving 12 years ago. And my basis for thinking that is one, color, and two that in the beginning I had Voskhod blades but didn't find them unpleasant to use.

I stopped using them for a few years, and when I came back to them it was a very tuggy, uncomfortable experience. Something had changed, and it had to have been my beard.
