derby blades

I have just tried Derby blades, after starting on personna, and they are horrible. they felt like I was shaving with sandpaper - I changed the blade midway but the new one was worse. I was left with a raw face,stubvble and blood spots - tried the same blade next day - after reading they give a nicer shave the next day- only to suffer again. back on the personna till I calm down then I will try feathers.

If you try Derby blades in another razor they may give you a total different experience...

I find I use Derby most in my R41 and Parker Shavette. Nice blades when paired with those razors

it may well be technique and/or razor but so far for me I cant get on with them.
