Delta Markiaro Posillipo

There's nothing on FPN about those pens either, and my post about them there turned up as much information as here. Maybe I'll be the first to review one.

Now half as wise
Andy,
I've often "looked" at the Delta pens in the Fahrney's catalog, but have never pulled the trigger on one. They realy do have some stunning pens.

The trouble is, most Deltas are on the pricey side. The 2 Delta's I've found are under $100. While that's not cheap, it's more reasonable (for me) than their $200+ pens. These are the potential acquisitions (one or the other... not both):

It doesn't help that the Faber-Castell Ondoro in orange, Onoto F-Spirit, TWSBI Micarta, Namiki Falcon, Platinum 3776 Music Nib, Edison Pearl and Mina, and Franklin Christoph Model 25 are "speaking to me" too. I bought a couple of Jinhao X750s in ivory white yesterday to calm my nerves.

I have had my eye on a few Franklin Christoph's! They are nice pens, and from what I have heard around here, the stock stub/italic nibs write well.

The section on the Posillipo wouldn't work for me, I find the metal grips uncomfortable and occasionally slippery. There used to be a model Anni 70 I thought looked good - traditional.

The metal grip is why I like the Riva better. I guess I just want to try a Delta for as little money as possible. That being the case, the Riva might work.
