it tasted pretty good. i may have to play with tamp and grind to get it a bit quicker but it tasted ok.
just tried 2 clicks coarser and it was way too fast i also tamped the crap out of it so i'll try one click in and if thats still too coarse ill have to go back to the previous and tamp lighter shot looked nice though super flufy crema

i got it down to about 35-40s now. great looking shot now just to let the beans gas out. 5 min old beans in espresso machine = carbonated coffee. erh

well i decided to do some coffee porn today besides the tea porn i mostly do.
rowanda AA and india mysore nuggets blend and roasted to before 2nd crack. just over a day old roast. 12g of coffee (most the delonghi will take)

Nice video. Got lots of crema, was the shot as good as it looked?
If you grind a little less fine, can you increase the amount of coffee used on your delonghi?

most i'v ever managed to stuff into the basket is 13.5g and that was no headroom for the head. maybe if i could take the plastic disc and the gasket out and not crush the filter disc i could squeak maybe 1-2 g extra but thats not possible i'v tried it and it bows the filter. its a known fact that the delonghi baskets only hold 12g or so. annoying but its all you can realisticaly get in them.
and yes the shot was awesome. and heres where i got the mysore http://www.greenbeanery.ca/bean/catalog/-p-12941.html?osCsid=49026dc5cbe9af9361d416fb4c784e0d they were cheap so i ordered a 1lb of them.
aparently the rowanda AA is "bourbon"
