Can anyone tell me how to accurately age my Puma straight, it is a #36... does this indicate production year? If not, are the stamped markings in the scales any help? View attachment 364875
I bought into the idea once that puma stamps had something to do with when they were made, cuz hey, it was on the Internet! My feelings these days? Model numbers for the blades. If I'm wrong, I'll be corrected, I'm sure.
Looks like some chips at the edge there...should hone out, but will take some doing.
Thanks Krodor, I've also seen conflicting accounts of these numbers and so was curious. You're right, some nice size chips on the blade... I'll need to lighten it up to get a nice edge.
