It's not even 11:00 in the morning and it's hot.
Not how I wanted to spend my day today, dogs.

That is why it is so hard to punish a dog for something after the fact. Unlike people, they cannot make the connection. It is hard to stay mad at them for too long.......

Punishment involved being forced to stay out of my way and sleeping on the spare bed and mauling a couple of raw hide bones while the HVAC guy ran some new flex pipe and I made a new door for the crawl space opening.

that's my experience. Dogs live in the present, so unless you catch them IN the act, not much you can do to teach them it was unacceptable... may even cause trust issues..

it's tough to bottle the frustration and anger when they mess up, but they are past it and cannot connect the dots....

Lol. When I had gotten out of the AF one of the first thing I did was get a boxer puppy. One of the first thing he did was chew all 9 of my silk shirts bought in Germany. Oh man was I hot. Those were good times!
