Daily shaving

Recently I've started shaving every 1.5 days, as after 2 days it takes a bit more work for the razor to smoothly make its way down the face. After 1 day, While I will have stubble when I run my hand across my face, it doesn't look very stubbly in the mirror.

Today I decided to shave after only 1 day, and had a comfortable experience. My question is to those daily shavers -- do you have a really noticeable amount of stubble at this point and need to shave, or do you shave to get rid of the prickly feeling that may or may not be extremely visible?

I have a thick beard that grows quickly. Even if starting from a BBS shave day prior, I have noticeable stubble the following morning. Wish I didn't though!

If I skip a day, it will be OK in the morning, but noticable by day's end.

Shaving every other day was the norm for me as well, but now I prefer to have a shave every day (during the week, at least).

I shave every day, as my upper lip and neck areas grow pretty quickly and are noticeably whisker-laden 24 hours after my last shave.

I shave in the morning and will have the proverbial 5 o'clock shadow by the late afternoon. If my wife and I are going out that evening I will shave again before we leave. Funny enough, as I have become gray, it seems my stubble has gotten worse.

Fortunately, shaving has again become a ritual I enjoy. I need to shave everyday to stay presentable and I like to shave everyday because it is just "damn fun".

My beard doesn't grow thickly but it grows quickly. As most of my beard is white now it isn't visible easily. But each morning in the shower as I wash my face I feel the whiskers have come back.

It's annoying, 'cause until I discovered DE shaving I always said I'd grow a beard if it would come in. I usually wear a mustache and last year I grew a chin beard. But now, I like shaving and I will probably just start regrowing only the mustache when I change razors this weekend. :euro:

My facial hair is dark and it grows quickly. I can pull off the "Dr. House" look well enough, but I do need a daily shave to look professional.

My beard grows very fast, and is quite noticeable after less than a full day. Before I learned more about proper shaving, I would skip days anyway, because of irritation and cuts. Cuts have become extremely rare, and irritation seems to be a thing of the past, now, so there is no reason not to shave every morning. The stubbly look is acceptable for my job, where I have minimal face to face contact with customers, but I just prefer to be clean shaven.

My beard is dark and I usually get shadow and stubble before the evening arrives. On nights I go out, I shave twice a day. Actually, some days, I'll just shave twice anyway, two passes. It's pretty easy on the neck, I've found.

Greek heritage means I have to shave every day or I look like I haven't shaved for a week. I used to think it was a curse . . . but that was before I came to know wetshaving and all of its trappings.

I have almost no growth really, it's sparse, the only problem is it seems to grow back quickly. If I don't shave it gets itchy plus I'm in the army presently, it's something they seem to be out on the lookout for.

I shave as close as possible with an injector, slant or SE now and I'm gonna start straights soon... I promise, why am I already looking into buying a coticule? I can't get away with skipping shaving, at least not on weekdays.

You guys make me envious with your fast growth/thick growth stories. I guess i will have to wait twice as long as you people before my next shave.

I shave either every other day or every day and a half. I like to have a little extra stubble to shave.
