Czech & Speake now charging for sample mailings

I received an email from Oleg at C&S today. I had read that others here had sample requests that never arrived, so I inquired about it. According to Oleg, this has become a recurring issue, so as of June 14, postage will be charged on samples (the samples themselves will still be free). All requests made prior to the 14th will still be sent free of any charges.
This seems quite fair, and I've never requested anything I wasn't at least willing to pay postage on. I had done the registration, etc. back in May, and they say the samples were posted. I guess that anyone else who hasn't received their samples in a "reasonable" amount of time, should request a resend.
I wonder where they have all ended up? Perhaps some postal worker is smelling fine....without having to pay for it!

Seems fair. trumpers had to do it and they through in a ton of samples. Then again, because of trying the samples, I have bought a lot of trumper products.

Charging a nominal fee for samples is a way of seperating those who are really interested in a product from those who just want to get anything they can, even if they have no interest in it whatsoever.

I have nothing wrong with the decision. Luckily for me, I asked for samples June 9th! Just beat the buzzer. I wonder if I will ever actually have them arrive though...

I had requested samples in early May and have yet to hear from them...I'd have no problem paying for postage though.
