Czech & Speake Neroli

I got a sample pack in from C&S that included this. I really liked it but it had poor longevity on my skin.

I love this frag. One of my favorite summer scents! Longevity is less than optimal, it's true, but I've found that spraying a bit of scent on your shirt as well as your skin extends the life of the fragrance. That said, I'm still able to sense it on my skin @ the end of the day.

Great stuff! :thumbup1:

I would say that C&S Neroli is my favoite neroli. Seems like a very pure neroli with just a little bit of wood/dirt/cigarette ash to it to keep it masculine. If you generally like C&S's house style, I am sure you will like this one, if you generally like nerolis.

Fantastic summer scent! Makes me think of wearing white linen on a Mediterranean yacht in the sunshine.

For people bummed about the longevity, I suggest doing the old-school application...shaking a few drops onto your palms, a brief rub together, and slapping it on. Has changed the scent from a sub-1 hour scent to a 5-7 hour scent for me (at least). Def worth a try!

Neroli didn't work for me. SWMBO said the scent reminded her of something a 12 year old girl would wear.

YMMV.

Ha! That's classic!

I fell in love with Castile the first time I tried it, and from there went nuts over neroli scents. The C&S version is different, perhaps a more pure neroli. The stuff is expensive, so I would recommend trying some before buying. I have a 200ml bottle if you need a decant.

To me Castile has a much, much more floral/tea rose accord in the top notes than does C&S Neroli, almost so much floral/tea rose that I am afraid to wear Castile. But that rather dominating foral/tea rose scent mostly blows off in Castile in an hour or so leaving a rather pure, high quality neroli, very similar to C&S. Both Castile and C&S have a bit of dirtiness and wood to them, which I really do like.

I do like nerolis and nerolis is a classic masculine scent event though it might seem too floral to some. See, for instance, the truly age-old Hoyt's, and most any Eau de Portugal.

Czech & Speake will send you a beautiful set of all their scents for just the cost of shipping. I think mine cost $5 total. Find them here.

I like the Neroli. Oxford Cambridge is my favorite C&S, but Neroli is nice as well. I can see it being a summer scent.

I can wear Castile, and SWMBO likes it too. :001_smile

I love C&S Neroli and it has fairly decent staying power on me. I have found though, and this is true for any scent, that having well moisturized skin holds scent far longer. Once I fell in love with trying all sorts of scents I also found I had dry skin less and less frequently. So there you go, longer scent life as a motivator for moisturizing after each hot shower.

As far as Neroli goes this is a darn nice one though, as others have said, it really doesn't last long. Maybe an hour on me. I gave my sample to my wife and she uses it sometimes after the bath.

It's a good Neroli. +1 on the cost and trying samples first.

Also, no neroli thread would be complete without a shout out to Creed's Neroli Sauvage.

It smells GREAT to me. It is a unisex scent, but I ended up deciding I would rather smell it on my wife than on myself. NOw I am trying to get her to wear it.

It is likely one of the best neroli scents available. But remember neroli is basically a flower scent. C&S calls this a unisex fragrance, but it seems like a flat-out feminine scent to me.
