What's new

Custom platied Fat Boy.

As some of you have seen im working on a project for my son AIT graduation for the Army. I originally found a Super Adjustable that suited his project... however i came across a deal on a Fat boy, same year as mine. I have see pics of bi tone black and nickle coating and black and silver rhodium. What im wanting to do is have them done black and silver but oppisites, like door know silver on one black on other all the way up the razor. Of all the companies that i found that restored razors i found 2 that advertise black rhodium and black nickel.. I have also found someone that does Black ceracoat. 1) what do you guys think of the idea? 2) any places that you know of that do this besides ones on internet? Would like to give business to someone who does an awesome job as a hobby. Since they love to do it, not to make money. Thank you for your help.

Ive sent emails to the electroplating place people suggest on forum, art of manliness, west coast razors, restored razors and razor emporium. Even tho they dont state if the can do either black nickel or black rhodium, i asked anyway.

More details would be helpful?

There are three occasions that I know of they sold B&B members families razors. Their plating service constantly goes out to another party to get redone and the list goes on. They also have been BANNED from several shaving forums.

let's end on a good note. Trust the following B&B members

Thank you guys for your help. West coast razors responded to me. They offer black chrome and black cerakote. Ive seen cerakote on guns, but not sure how slick a surface could be made on a razor, not totally sold on that idea.
