I was fine. I was miserable using the canned cream and stock razors, and I was fine. Ignorance was bliss. But no, I wanted something more, something better. So I decided to turn my shaving experience into something I enjoyed. The razors, the soaps, the blades, the smooth face .... It was everything I wanted. But what about this soap? Is it better? This brush? Better?!? Can I enhance my shave even more? I must know. Another $37 this week. Is there some sort of counseling I can get? Do you guys have separate accounts in the Caymans to fund all of your purchases? DO I NEED A SECOND JOB!!???


Oh, uh, anybody tried Mike's Lime? It's on the way. Excited about it.

You may need a second job. I tried to reign in my AD but decided it was better just to let it run for a while. Now I have lots of nice gear and it has slowed down a little. And only 37$ this week? That isn't bad at all.

I had a DE razor and a VDH brush and bowl set for a few years until it took a tumble and broke. In my search for a new razor I came across this place and just so happened it was after my wedding around my b-day and not to far off from Christmas. Within the first three months I had sunk around $700.00 in goods and services I have slowed down considerably since then but still average around $30 a month. I'm with you on the second job idea.......I'll tell SWMBO to get on that ASAP

I found this forum looking for shaving techniques when I first switched to a DE razor. Noticed how I said a DE razor, I currently have 13 razors (need to buy another, I don't like the number), about 5 brushes, numerous blades, every time I stop by a store that has a brand I don't own I pick up a pack, and more soaps than I can use in a couple of years, yet there is more to try. At least I am having fun and not causing anyone harm with this vice. Then I went to the aftershave, fragrance and NIB forums. Too many ADs not enough money
