Crystals = Israeli Personnas (right?)

I've been trying out different blades, and I can't feel any difference between Crystals and Israeli Personnas (not the red pack). I think I read that they're the same, just packaged differently. Correct?

Actually, I'm having a hard time feeling the difference between them and Astras too, but that's probably just me

And how come everyone except me raves about the Red Pack Personnas? I can't squeeze any love out of them.

Yes, they are. The blade itself will probably say Super+ Platinums. I, too, don't find the Red Pack Personnas all that good. They're acceptable but nothing more to me.

They may be made by the company, even at the same plant, but they are not the same blade.

Crystals and Red Personnas feel entirely different to me, even in a blind test. Crystals are good, but are more likely to pull and irritate. Red Personnas are smooth and sharp.

Israeli Personnas = Crystals

Red Pack Israelis are a whole different animal

I saw a thread a while back but can't find it again (maybe someone else can)
and am pretty sure it was something like after looking into it Crystals and IP's the are both made by ASR but ASR has no clue who or where the red packs come from???? Hope I can find that thread again.

Sorry to hear that the RIs don' show you guys any love. So far they are my go to blade. They give me a consistent BBS without any irritation. The only one I have yet to try is the Iridium Supers.

To me, Crystals are Blue IP's. I don't think anybody else says this, though...
