Concentrating aftershaves?

I have been thinking about using aftershave to scent some melt and pour soaps. I've done this before with VDH, but adding aftershave directly did not make the scent strong enough. I don't want to add too much liquid and mess up the consistency of the soap.

Is there a good way of reducing the amount of liquid in the aftershave in order to concentrate the scent? I though boiling would probably be the easiest way, but wouldn't I lose some of the fragrance that way? If it was done slowly, the alcohol should evaporate out first, right? Is there a better method?

Also, how much liquid can I safely add to the soap base?

I'd like to do this with Brut, Old Spice, Skin Bracer, and Jeris hair tonic if it makes any difference. For Brut and Old Spice, I'd start with the cologne so it would be stronger to begin with.

I boiled the Veg when I made the veg soap. I'll find a link to it and put it here.
Short bursts in the microwave with long pauses to let it cool off.
It worked just fine and I wound up with a very dark green base to add to the soap.

Ok it's here;

I heated it, which evaporated off the alcohol without scorching it. If it started to boil, I stopped and let it cool off.

Thanks Phil. I thought about that thread as I was posting, but I couldn't find it. 5 ounces reduced to 3 Tbsp! That's amazing. Sounds perfect.

That's only about 30 percent of the original amount, so about 70 percent evaporated off. That sounds about right for the quantity of water / alcohol in that particular fragrance.
