Col. Conk lime soap discoloured.

I tried searching for an answer but couldn't find one. I have a puck of col. conk that doesn't see much, if any, action as I've never been able to get a good lather out of it. Today I decided to give it another try but when I retrieved the soap I noticed there was some brown discolouration that wasn't limited to the surface.

My question is has the soap gone bad? I don't know how it would but it has discoloured. I would post a picture but I don't have any cameras at the moment.

Should I still use the soap or just ditch it?

Strange. I believe some posted about this before w/r/t Conk soaps going bad. Honestly, I would just pitch it in the trash. My guess is glycerin soaps just aren't made to last as long as milled soaps. They may be more vulnerable to thinks like moisture and such and go bad more easily. That reminds me, I have some glycerin soaps that haven't seen action in awhile....

I recently noticed my puck of AOS unscented in a tupperware with screw on lid had turned brownish on the bottom, (you can see thru the tupperware). Upsetting at first but it lives under the sink and doesn't see the brush often so I tried it and it was perfect. Checked around a bit and its really not all that uncommon for soaps to discolor in certain containers. Is your container air tight? I guess I'm either STUPID or brave but I sure would try it before pitching it. That is if you like it.

I'm going to toss the soap. I just made up a lather with it that did not smell good. I wasn't impressed with the smell of the soap in the first place, but something has definitely gone off, oh well it won't be missed.
