Coconut Aftershave?

Are there any good Coconut scented aftershaves? If not, anything that goes well with a Coconut SC? I was thinking maybe SCS might have one, but the site seems to be out of commission, the home page is the only page that seems to be working.

Great questions. I would like to know this also, especially one with a nice clean natural scent; not sickly sweet candied scent, like the old suntan oils.

I too am interested. I have yet to see a coconut AS.

What I have found that goes well with coconut SC is a bay rum AS. Very nice Caribbean mix. Usually coconut SCs are light so I think any AS would work well tbh.

The Shave Den sell their own aftershave balms and splashes and do two coconut scents one is just plain Coconut and the other is Coconut Lime Verbena.
Ginger's Garden also make balms and splashes with Coconut Lime Verbena scent.

I'll be experimenting this evening seeing how Proraso liquid cream as balm goes with coconut shaving cream I'll let you know how it worked out

Has anybody tried any of the eBarbershop aftershaves? They are cheap, might give one a try.

I just ordered the coconut aftershave balm at http://thefragranceshop.com to give it a try, I've never used any of their products, but I will post here when I get it.

They actually have 3 coconuts that I saw, coconut the one I bought (natural fragrance I think), Black coconut (toasted), coconut passion (I think more of the sweet fruity smell). At least this was my take from the descriptions.

I received the coconut aftershave from the Fragrance Shop. This is the first time I have used there AS balm. The Coconut scent is pretty sweet, more like candy coconut then the light, fresh coconut scent that I get if I smell a jar of coconut oil, or some GFT coconut oil cream. I will have to try the toasted coconut scent next.

The balm itself was nice, not greasy, maybe a bit too dry and I noticed my skin getting oily later in the day, as it does when I strip oils from skin without adding any kind of moisture or protection back to it. I have average to oily skin, so if I dry it out my skin will produce more oils, if I use a good aftershave that is moisturizing my skin doesn't compensate by making a bunch more. I think average to dry skin might work better with The Fragrance Shops formula balm. I will try laying down a layer of GFT skin food first and see if that takes care of the oil issue.

I got the eBarbershop Coconut Balm today. It smells a little sweeter than the TOBS SC. I like the scent though. I will have to try it out tomorrow since I already shaved this morning. I put a little on, seems to moisturize pretty well and it doesn't seem greasy.

Sounds promising, I am looking forward to seeing your take on it. I was considering trying that one next.

I tried out the eBarbershop today. It definitely has a sweeter scent than the TOBS cream, but it still smells good and goes well with the TOBS IMO. You don't need to use much, it's not greasy, seems to absorb well, and it seems to moisturize well. I did get a little burn where I must have gotten a little rough with the razor on my jawline, it did not last very long. It's now been an hour and a half I think and my face is really soft so the moisturizer seems to be working quite well. I don't know that any of my other balms leave my face feeling this soft. I will have to try a few in the next few days to compare.

For only $8 shipped it definitely is worth a try IMO. I will give it a few more uses, but at this point I would say there's a good chance I may try one of the other scents, or samples of a couple of them. Off the top of my head I think the other options are Vanilla, Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Unscented. There may be a Bay Rum as well.

Good to know. I didn't realize that it was that inexpensive, I will give them a try too, if they have a bay rum, I might have to throw that in the cart to take for a spin as well.

Thanks for the tip on this one, I was not familiar with the site.

Just went to the site again and I was mistaken on the Bay Rum, it was Almond. I think I was looking at a Bay Rum somewhere else this morning.

For someone mixing their own AS would something like this be okay? I was thinking CHL + Lime EO + maybe this? Body shop has some "Beautifying oils" with scents, or is there a better place to get fragrance oils(Is that what I'm looking for?) Below are the ingredients for the coconut scented oil.
