Has anyone used these two who would be able to tell me what they are like? I'm considering getting both when I have to get a new tub of shaving cream.

I can't but I just ordered some small travel size and some free samples in the Pinaud line from ebarbershop a few minutes ago so I'm know the answer to that soon.
You might consider doing the same. I think my total bill including shipping was about $12 and I got either samples or small travel size bottles of Pinaud Special Reserve, Vegetal, Lime Sec, Bay Rum, Vanilla, Musk, and Citrus Musk (along with ebarbershop's sandalwood balm and their own bay rum aftershave.
That's a pretty inexpensive way to try a lot of stuff.

To me, Musk smells like a lighter version of regular Clubman. Vanilla is a little bit like British Sterling (or like it used to smell). You can never go wrong with buying a bottle of Pinaud. Unless it is the thrice-cursed Tres Flores.
I love the whole Clumban line. I used the Musk all last week and I'll start using the Vanilla tomorrow (I usually switch aftershaves weekly). The only one I don't like is the Veg. You can't go wrong with any of them. A bit of adivice, put some glycerin in the bottle when you get it and shake it up really well. It'll make your face feel great.
Listen to these gentlemen, they know whereof they speak! I concur with all of the above, including the recommendation to just buy some of both, and the addition of a little glycerin for a bit of added moisture and conditioning.
My wife says vanilla is the most cuddleworthy and her friends tend to like the musk and special reserve the most, if that tells you something.......I like the bay rum the most but lilac vegetal is becoming my go to scent

I already have VIBR, Special Reserve, and Veg, and like them all. I'm planning on probably filing away the Aqua Velva for use only on days where I am going to wear cologne, and want a more reserved after shave that won't compete. Thanks for the advice guys!

I purchased a bottle of each today, as well as a tub of TOBS Avocado cream that I'll use then the Sandalwood runs out.
