ClogPrufs - 2 Variants

ok i just happened to notice that there are 2 Variants,
now the is my favourite razor, it's just right for me.......
now i never noticed any differences till i had ver heave beard growth my last shave,
the one i was using that day kept clogging up?!?!?
then today i noticed the 2 that i own have different lather holes.....

i'm thinking the left one is the newer type, as the slant matches the Bullet Tips and GBar
and the right, square cut ones must be an older type.... which was the one i had clogging up......

does anyone have any ideas on theses?

The holes look different but it's hard to tell from your photo. Can you take a close up picture of each and then put the two photos side by side?

Interesting, so there are six different Micromatics?

1. OCMM
2. Clog-Pruf Type I
3. Clog-Pruf Type II
4. FWMM w/o Guiding Eye
5. FWMM w/ Guiding Eye
6. FWMM w/ Plastic Knob

I'd like to have a complete set as I think they're the most aesthetically interesting of razors.*






*Excluding the so-called Streamline/Jewels, which I suspect are merely cruel photoshopped hoaxes and don't really exist.

And, to make things even more confusing there's some differences between the gold and chrome plated models. The gold one has 17 teeth and they're "taller" than the 12 teeth on the chrome one.

My G-Bar has the square holes.
My Micromatic has the slanty holes.
Both of my Clog Pruf's have the slanty holes.

Interesting find for sure.
