i was wondering how are the cheap plastic click style razors. i was thinking of buying on to keep as backup in the travel kit.

You'd never notice the difference if you had to go to the back up!
No doubt the cheap ones serve a purpose. It's all a matter of personal preference I suppose.
I have a few of the Rubie Clicks, but I have them unopened in the package as a novelty type item, I don't ever intend to shave with them.
A decent Tech can be had for just a couple of dollars more and will last 100 years.

yeah i just figured if i travel with a cheap plastic thing i wouldn't mind loosing it. i still wouldn't want to loose a tech, cheap or not
I had 2 click razors,
they are not bad, the only problem is that they are so lightweight that they can't get through my beard in a decent number of pass, it just doesn't remove beard.
If you want something to travel get a disposable razor, it's a better choice.
