I have used an Ebay shop called either Classic_razor or Open_razor that is based in Poland but I can't find them anymore, does anyone know what has happened to them (name change / closure / own website)?

Not a clue. Why don't you send him a query through eBay US? Just click on he eBay user name and select "Contact Member" from the left hand menu.
