Cigar - CAO Brazilia

I'm fairly new to cigars, and haven't been able to try too many cigars.

The cigar I enjoyed most up to this point was a cigar made by CAO called the brazilia. It was lovely and dark and very flavorful, and I enjoyed it very much.

Has anyone else tried these? Any opinions? I recommend them, if you like strong cigars. Is there anything else comparable? I have trouble finding them around.

I have smoked a few of these and found the draw to be abnormally tight. Not to the point of being unsmokable, however. I did enjoyed the flavors and richness. If you enjoy CAO's I would strongly urge you to try the Italia. Its a great cigar. Cheers. Happy smoking.

William,
You may want to check out the Rocky Patel Edge series.

If you really like strong cigars, look into the La Flor Dominicana Ligero and Double Ligero offerings... :thumbup1:

The Piranha was probably my favorite smoke at one point in time. After a while I moved on to some other stuff, and then a couple years later found a mess of them in the bottom of the cooler, They were pretty awesome with 3+ years on them.

CAO MX2's provide a great maduro punch.

BTW: cigarsinternational has good prices on ...well...all cigars.

cigarbid, their 'sister' site, has ...well...you guessed it...even better prices... on most sticks. hope this helps ignite the discussion :wink2:

+1 on the LFD's Rob.

William, the Brazilia is a great cigar. Most everything by CAO is good. I keep a nice stash of CX2, and MX2s available. My tastes have changed a lot in the past couple of years (just ask rmrdaddy) but when I want a good cameroon or maduro, I always go back to my CAO stash.

I've never had one of those but I do occasionally smoke CAO Gold Torpedo. Very soothing after a meal...or anytime for that matter.:wink2:

Of all the CAO's, the Italia's by far my fav...with the Brazilia's a close second.

They make a great smoke, enjoy!

+1 on the La flor Dominicana line. The brazilia is a very strong and full flavored cigar, not one of my favorites but a solid stick. The LFD double ligero chisel tip is one of the more powerful cigars you can get at most B&M stores. Also worth checking out in that price point is Oliva Servie V Lancero. Although it is a much narrower vitola, it packs a great flavor in a small space.
