Well recived it about 1 week ago have had 2 shaves and i must say
its a nice litle brush love it.

Glad to hear you are pleased with the brush. The Simpson Chubby 1 was the very first higher end brush that I longed for. I owned it in Best & Super and in versions 1,2 & 3 multiple times. My wish for you is that you do not become similarily afflicted. I will say that they first use ever of the CH1 on my face is still vivid... It made quite the impact.( I still own a CH2 in Best)

The CH1 is my go to soap brush. It is an absolute dream.

Personally, I found the handle too small, and the knot (Vulfix) was so damn dense and stiff, I actually got face burn the first time I used it.

It also didn't hold much lather.

A shame, it looks awesome and I really wanted to like mine.

I went for the 2 instead, which I then found too large!!

I found the Duke 3 (also Vulfix, newer shorter loft version) just right.

Ignore the naysayer's unless you only have 2 fingers you should be able to negotiate a smaller handle, just adjust your grip if it's slipping.
Equally just soak it well and load it enough and it will reward you.

I've had my eye on one as well. I have tried the Chubby3 and it was too large for me. I got a Chubby 2 but really wanted something a bit smaller to work with soaps. The Chubby1 looks to be the ticket. I feel the SBAD creeping in . . . again.
