I have not sent out cards for years, but thanks to this forum, I am enjoying fountain pens and wonder what are the best (festive) Christmas inks you will be using this year. What size nib(s) are you going to use with your ink this year? Just looking for suggestions for my cards this year as I would like them as festive as possible. Thanks in advance.

I have fallen in love with Pelikan brilliant red and brilliant green. Both amazing inks with a nice bold nib
I am using Edelstein Adventurine this year. I have used Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses in years past.
Private Reserve Sherwood Green is a deep green with blue undertones that reminds me of evergreens.
That is one color that screams Christmas card ink. I imagine Goulet's go through cases of it this time of year. They had it in an ink drop a few Novembers back and I wanted to get it then.
I think this is what I've settled on. Not anything we hear of much in the Nib, but I got them locally at an art supply store.

Liquitex ink! Iridescent Bright Gold
For notes in my cards I will probably use my A.A. Waterman and Edelstein Ruby ink.
Or my Brause italic... sigh... might have to switch it up some to keep myself entertained.
Edit: Also, I will need to figure out how to write in a straight line.

Last year i ised Iroshizuku Yama Budo and it looked great as well... cant remember if i have any greens in my collection of inks

I like the gold. Edelstein amber heads towards gold, but it really isn't close enough. Nice choices.

The Emerald I'm using actually shades really well. Using it in a dip pen (it's a dip ink, but thin like an FP ink), as the quantity decreases, the saturation also decreases. It's really nice. I need to figure out how to write more freely and big.

Black Swan in Australian Roses used to be my christmas card ink, but I have PIFed the pen I had dedicated to that ink. I may have to use my ink testing pen (Lamy Vista) this year.
I've got two Private Reserve inks that will probably get used...DC Supershow Green and Fiesta Red.
I had Pelikan Brilliant Green last year. Think I might use BSIAR this year...when in doubt, copy off the best!

Same here. Everytime I think my penmanship is improving I see one of his posts with his handwriting in it and I go to my corner and cry.
