Chose my blade PIF

So I'm pretty sure I've decided on a blade from my collection, and I'd like to PIF the blades from my sample pack

I have a total of 4 packages of one blade of each Shark super stainless, super chrome, Astra stainless, platinum, and Crystal. One random pack will get a supermax stainless by feather.

Rules:

You must be wanting to try something new.

Reply with an I'm in, and once I finish my current blade I'll choose four posts to receive the pack of 5 total blades!

It's not much, but I'd like some newer people to have a sample pack to help them on their way

I'm in. Started wet shaving the 4th of this month, and I'm more than willing to try new blades. I wasn't satisfied with the Astra Superior Platinum blades I had, but maybe they were a bad batch. I'll be able to try Gillette Silver Blues later on this morning or early afternoon, but I'm intrigued to give other companies a try. Perhaps a new favorite could emerge to use as an alternate in a blade rotation.

I have one quick question for you, what exactly is a "supermax stainless by feather"? Does Feather make blades under another label? Is there a different Feather from the typical one with which I am familiar? Very curious!

By the way, I hear a lot about Gillette Black blades. I've tried searching for them on Amazon, and haven't found anything but a blue pack of 7 O'Clocks. Is there a store that sells them so I can pick up a pack and take them for a test drive? Why are they so highly regarded? And how do they rank with Gillette Silver Blue?

I just checked the mail a few minutes ago, and received the letter from you. Thank you, and I look forward to trying out the new blades! Also in the post was my father's Christmas present - a 1956 Gillette Super Speed. It's the same year that he graduated high school in Ohio. What a great day thus far!
