I have a packet of that.....
Let's just say it fits the TSA requirements for travel products very very well, but shaves...well it shaves, but bar soap is a much better way to go if you have no real shave soap or cream around.

can I put this in my pocket?
Oh yeah you can put it in your pocket. There are thin leaves of soap in the box...I tried to use 3 leaves and it sort of lathers, but nothing like real bar soap and especially nothing like shave soap.
Is a regular puck of shaving soap (or any bar soap) not TSA compliant?

It should be fine, but this is marketed for the general public, not the B&B crowd. Most guys are using aerosols or gels, not pucks of soap.
