Cheapest brushes?

Hey there. Who has the cheapest, non-wooden handle brushes out there? My daughters (7 and 4) have discovered my brush, mug, and soap. They like using them in the bath and shower to lather up with. I really don't care, as it gets them clean. But the problem is I can never find my brush when I am getting ready to shave. I actually had to use my wife's (gasp) shaving cream yesterday. Blah. Sticky, flowery smelling goo. So for my sanity, and to avoid smelling like a giant petunia, I am trying to get something that will hold up reasonably well, and won't break the bank. Please let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Dunno about over there, but in the supermarkets down here you can get $2 Chinese made brushes........( but the handles are wood )

You could get a couple of these for the kids

If you're looking at one for yourself, I'm guessing one of the cheap Omega lines.

I have a Wilkinsons Sword Brush, boar, but not too spikey and cost 3.49, so 'bout $5. Black plastic handle and little shedding :D If you have a good brush, buy the girls their own soap and brush and hide yours ;-) LOL

Yeah, no kidding. I was using "Honey I washed the kids" by Lush. Dangit if they didn't like that more than their kid soaps. Now I'm going to have to order some more. :frown:

Mb,

I know the feeling, found the GF using my Tobs not so long ago, not that bothered but her legs take a lot more of the stuff than my face :D LOL I'm also tight and have learnt to pare it down so I use the bare minimum of cream, she just dollops it on!!!!!!!

:D

Have a look on Lushs site, they do loads of cheaper stuff, and I'm sure if you asked the girls in the shop they can find your daughters something equally nice too :D (You become the cool dad then, not the grumpy takes away the nice "brush" thing dad ;-) LOL).

How'd you get on with the lush stuff, I havn't personally enjoyed the shaving cream I got from them, but then again I've only trid one a few years back... perhaps another try coming on ;-) LOL

I found the lush store when I was in Maui this summer. I like the Honey etc.. soap just because it smells nice, and makes a decent enough lather. It is a bath soap, not specifically for shaving. I'll try to find something for them to play with, or stash a bar or two for myself the next time I order. :)

LOL, they do several proper shave products (My GF used to use lush lots, but the shop makes my eyes itch in the sockets!!! :D ). Sounds like a good idea, stock up on your supply and leave a bar temptingly out.... if they think it's their decision, they will keep using it :D (Ahhhh, child psychology.... :D LOL ). It's when they start stealing your razor too, especially if it happens to be the mint NOS Fatboy in original container, never used, come home it's gone and left on the side of the bath..... the horror :D LOL (thats why I lock my razors away from my GF.... just in case :D ).

Hows about leaving a Wrights Coal Tar on the side????, most girls wouldn't be caught dead using it with a smell like that :D, I on the other hand love it :D

BTW, lush do some lovely shampoo soaps too... they may prove an ok lather maker... I have one to try, so I'll see what happens :D
