Centwin blades?

Was browsing thru eBay, and saw a sampler pack that contained a "Centwin" blade.
Never heard of it - anyone used them or know about them?

Hmm. what an interesting site.
I generally get on really well with Indian blades, so those Centwin blades have grabbed my attention.
Don't Malhotra also make Supermax?
The only Indian blades I've not enjoyed are Laser Ultra (also on that site). They're 40p (!) for 5 here in UK, but still not worth it- for me the edge falls off after the first pass.

And Wilkinson Sword hasn't manufactured blades in Britain since 1999, so they're almost certainly the German ones.

If they were I doubt they would be selling them that cheap!

In this case, i was confused. I thought the poster above was saying the Centwin's were made in England by Wilkinson. It is clear from shavefave these blades are from India, and not made in England.

But in general I don't necessarily think blade prices reflect quality, except for in the case where high quality blades create great demand. Merkurs are very expensive (and trashed by most here) while Astras, Crystals, Labs, etc are very affordable.

Reviving an old thread. I got one of these in a sampler as well. I like them. I got one of the closest shaves I have ever had with it. It is a very aggressive blade and I was using it in my most aggressive razor. I have to be careful or it will cut deep very quick.

One of the blades in my rotation, my 'workhorse blade', fairly cheap and does the job without any problems, and is good for 3 shaves or 4 if I'm careful.
Only seems to be available in bulk on eBay from 1 seller in India, but reasonably priced and supplied in tucks of 50 blades
