Well, it's been a little over 5 months since I started DE shaving (been shaving with cartridge for 20 years) and I have enjoyed every DE shave regardless of results. What I have enjoyed the most is trial and error. I've tried so many different products that I cannot try to recall all of them, but if it's any indication of how many products I've tried, this is my THIRD large PIF in only 5 months of B&B membership. Over the last five months, I've developed serious AD to the tune of a little over $2,000 on shaving related items along with skin care related items prompted by paying better attention to my skin. Although SWMBO thinks I'm nuts, I truly feel that every penny I've spent was well worth it... not only because I got to try something new, but also because the money did not go to waste. By being able to PIF products here on this great community, I know that any dollar I spend will be put to good use by another deserving fellow... and isn't that what life should be about?
With all this said, I'm celebrating finally completing my first full tub of shaving cream since starting DE shaving five months ago. I have enjoyed every stroke of the brush, every swirl, every whiff of the wonderful scent, and every scrape of the blade with this fantastic TOBS Jermyn St cream! Needless to say I'll be ordering another one, but with that I have also realized that any cream or soap can perform excellently if you improve your technique. To me, at this point, it's all about the scent and so the next chapter of my AD continues with searching for wonderful scents. TOBS Jermyn St is certainly a winner in my book. I recently placed an order for a tub of ADP and I hope it smells as wonderful as the Colonia.
