1) I have been requested to cook a rack of venison on the grill for Christmas Eve dinner. 
2) My Georgetown G5 scuttle is waiting for me at the UPS Depot.
3) I arranged to walk past the new local Penhaligon's dealer last night on the way to SWMBO's office party. Of course, we had to stop in to look around a little. I am now totally in the clear to pick up a bottle of English Fern, Hammam, or Blenheim for myself (strong hint dropped that there should probably also be a bottle of Quercus under the tree for my better half).

Any of you gents care to share a list of the cosmically insignificant but thoroughly enjoyable things that are adding joy to your holiday season? (OK, #4 on my list definitely ain't "cosmically insignificant"--I'd be lost in every sense without that woman. So, feel free to go beyond the creature comforts on your list, too.)
