CCW Self Education, what everyone should read.

"Can't Raise an Eyebrow"
There are a few tomes that every prospective CCW'er should read. Most of these aspects have probably seen discussion on this forum.
The first is Col. Jeff Cooper's "Principals of Personal Defense". Even those who are not predisposed to CCW should read it. Available on Kindle.

Next is Massad Ayoob's "In the Gravest Extreme" available on Amazon, but unfortunately not on Kindle. A bit dated but still relevant.

Most recently is the late James Yeager's book, "The Four Pillars of Fighting", published posthumously. It is the least expensive on Kindle. Very entertaining and a serious reality check on what works in the real world.

There are of course many other texts worth reading, but these will instill a good basic understanding of what works and what is wishful thinking.

I have read Cooper and Ayoob. In the current milieu the legal ramifications are more frightening than an assault would be, and that aspect of defense deserves a whole lot of serious thinking.

Less seriously, here's The Man In Black.
