Casual belts

Hello Gentleman,
I'm looking for a sturdy and durable belt for casual wear and for heavy work (while I'm working in the garden etc etc).
Since its casual I don't want to spend too much on that. preferably a seller or a brand in UK or ships international.

I've seen some Guys in the bay selling English bridle belts .

Happy receive your suggestions !!

Thanks

I have Equus West-End and Roller Buckle bridle belts and think that they are terrific.
You might be able to find a version to dress down.
While they are not cheap, the quality is unmatched, and your usual suspect belts from major manufacturers are just as expensive.

I have a brown dress belt from Trafalgar, it's very nice. For an affordable casual belt, Carhartt does the job nicely.

I've been running an rm Williams belt for work everyday for the last ten years. Still as strong as the day I bought it

I bought mine from a Hobbyist right here on B&B. It is a great belt - thick and very pliable. Mine is the exact one in the first two pictures. Rob strikes me as one of the good guys to do business with too. :thumbup1:

Thanks for posting that link, I forgotten about Big Robs Gun leather and had wanted to check out their belts.

@Rschan might be interested in this earlier thread - Casual Belt Recommendations? Lots of promising recommendations mentioned there including in no particular order:

There must be a lot of leather workers or hobbyist out on the internet. I just searched for a belt maker in my home state of North Carolina that I was trying to recall from before. I recall they had some exotic looking causal belts, but I got lots of search hits before finding them. The first link is the person I was searching for, and the rest are the extra hits. I don't know anything about their quality, just posting in case there is curiosity.

I've recommended this before, but not sure if anyone else has done it or not.

This article shows using a natural unfinished leather belt blank, but I typically buy pre-finished brown or black from a leather store in the city where I live. Find any full grain leather belt blanks online (preferably ones with holes punched for the buckle and snaps), buy the buckle of your choice (usually only a couple bucks from any leather supply store), and you've got a belt that will last as long as you do.

Honestly, I can't recommend this route enough. The store I go to is owned by a local guy, and it's been in his family for generations. The last one I bought, he trimmed and finished the end to the length I wanted, punched the holes, and I walked out the door without even having to worry about punching holes or trimming leather when I got home. Mine cost around $20, so it can even be done for cheaper than $23.

So pleased to see Henry's shoe as they make some of the best chopper mittens ever. I was about to order a pair when he passed away and the continuation was in question. It seems I can now order.
