Captain's Choice evaluating making life easier

Well, it has taken forever to source these but we have them and will be testing them over the next week or so. If they pass muster we will order them up and begin upgrading our bottles. It is the most common request we receive and we have been searching for some time, believe me.

What could it be? Hmmm, the bottle LOOKS the same in the first picture but 'lo and behold the surprise in the second picture. Only by getting to the end of the earth did we come up with them and we are hoping, just hoping they work. Stay tuned...

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most earth-shattering. A way to not waste precious CC? I'd call that pretty darn significant, nice work Cap!

Good news! Hopefully they fit the bill.
I like the stuff but don't need a 1/2 cup of it after I shave .

Can I get a Hallelujah!!! Great job Scott!...Perfect addition to the bottle, now I won't have to use my thumb anymore :biggrin1:

Great news. Could use one now in fact. Had a brain fart and went to shake some CC into my palm, ended up with more than a handful. Bathroom rug still smells nice.

great news! hoping everything works out smoothly!!! I've gotten proficient at carefully pouring out a wee bit into my palm - but this definitely will definitely help preserve the CC ambrosia!!

We do note on our site one way to dispense Captain's Choice is to cradle the bottle in your palm with index finger over the opening. Then, using the finger as a governor, dribble into the palm of the other hand.

After some vigorous shaking and upside-down-for-a-day-to-see-if-it-leaks testing this reducer works fine. It is a significant improvement as I had hoped it would be. Believe it or not, we have found a second reducer that will fit the same bottle and samples are on the way as we speak. These two reducers may have slightly different diameter holes for dispensing and if that is the case - in the interest of conserving - the smaller hole wins.

One way or the other a reducer will be available soon, maybe two weeks. Once we decide which one is best for the product we will order up a box of 'em and install on our inventory. As for existing customers who would like a reducer I will gladly ship one to you at my expense once we make a decision. We are grateful for your patronage and if having a reducer will give you a better Captain's Choice experience I'm all for that!

Keep an eye on this thread for updates. I would hope in a week we will know more...

Men have been knighted for lesser achievements and service to the community. Keep up the great work, Scott!

BRAVO! BRAVO! much appreciated!

Captain,
Excellent news! I picked up a bottle of your A.S. after a chat with one of the lads at Merz Apothecary. I have NEVER liked Bay Rum in the past UNTIL trying your product. Great idea to add a reducer. I'll be looking for the new bottle next time I make a trip to Merz.
Keep up the great work!
Ron
