Can you polish a case?

Has anyone tried to polish a fatboy case? If so, was it successful? I received a cased fatboy and the razor is absolutely spectacular, better condition than I thought since I bought it as part of a lot. The case is a little dingy and scrubbing bubbles and dawn didn't touch it. So what are your thoughts?

I have tried polishing cases before and it has worked. I recommend a good plastic such as one used to restore headlights. I don't remember the exact brand I used, it may have been Mothers.

Try McGuires PlastX polish.
It works very well.
But be careful, the plastic is old and fragile. It cracks easily.

I just ordered a bottle of Flitz to clean up some of my razors, it says it works on plastics too, maybe that would work?

I'm definitely going to be gentle since I know the plastic is old. Just trying to figure out the best way to have a nice display piece.

Flitz will clean the hell out of plastic, yes. I've used it on Fat Boy cases before with wonderful results. It also works wonders on vintage brush handles.
