Can anyone fix a uneven blade gap on a Slim?

As the title says. Just got it and noticed it's common problem.

I was thinking about POSSIBLY giving Razor Emporium a chance, since they are about 3 miles from me here in Phoenix, but something is rubbing me wrong with everything I keep reading. Being banned here is one thing, but work quality disaster story after another is something else...

So, does anyone have the skill and knowledge to adjust it or can point me in the right direction?

Thanks

I bought a super adjustable on the BST recently that was said to be in pretty nice shape and smooth operation for $30.. when it arrived the doors wouldn't open and the guard was totally bent causing massive blade gap issues.. Only experience like it I've had on the BST. The seller hasn't posted since that time when I told him about it. Completely useless razor for $30. I'd love to know how to fix this as well.

OK, it is simple.....use a screwdriver and twist it gently until you see it even, be GENTLE and twist.

Alex,

Thank you for the pictures (BTW, they are too small...) but I'm not going to go at it by myself.
I need a recommendation for a professional to do it.

What do you mean? Professional razor fixer? I recently took apart a rare $800 dollar chrome/nickel Toggle. Within the last few months i fixed, Fatboys, Slims, and few Brit TTO's for B&B members and vendors including one my Toggles and Fatboy razor for myself. I am not saying I'm a professional, but i may have a little experience to pass on some advise. If you feel that it is too complicating I can understand. I would not pass on advise that i think is too complicating.

With mine the guard appears to be bent in towards the razor like it was slammed down or dropped on the guard, which in turn affects the opening mechanism. I will try the screwdriver idea out and see how that goes... I think inserting the screwdriver under the guard would be needed.. not necessarily over the guard and touching the doors. We'll see how it goes.
