Cable Organizers.....

So I am almost finished building a desk for my future apartment (the one I will be moving into right after my wedding ) and I found this Ikea organizer that is the perfect tool for my desk: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50138302

The only problem is that I live nowhere near an Ikea. Thus, do any of you have ideas for similar items? I could probably rig something very similar, but it would not look nearly as clean.

Cables can be a pain. I try using wireless for most everything.

I usually just put my major runs in a split-side tubing (they sell it at Lowes in the electrical section) and zip tie everything shut. That thing looks like you could approximate it with some black canvas and a few angle brackets. Time to get creative I'd say.

There's some great stuff at some of those places. I'm just using velcro and cable ties, plus a few hooks. Have power cords routed separate from network cables, and the KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) for each box is tied together. Need a rack, and then might look into some fancier stuff. If you think this is a mess, you should've seen it before I rerouted everything. There's a 4th power strip on the side for wall warts, not in the pictures. Couple of thing I want to do is mount a large power strip on the side of the desk, and a couple of hooks to help tie the different cable bundles somewhere off the floor and away from each other, but holding off for a rack.

On the stereo, I only route the power cables out of the way to one side. Looks like that third shelf needs dusting.
