Take it back to the local Bed, Bath & Body works and get something that will make you feel purposeful, exotic and plutocractic.

I wear white in the summer or hot weather, blue in mild weather spring and fall, and black for cooler weather (meaning highs in the low 60s).
Others... male and female... tend to more deeply invade my "personal space" when I'm wearing black.

really! well, i am certainly not above giving this elixir a second chance...
I like Elixir Black. It has that sweetness that reminds me a lot of Burberry London. It's not anything that's going to blow you away, but for $20.00 it's a pretty good buy imo.
Elixir white is also pretty nice in the summer.

Just be aware, different frags react differently on different people due to their body chemistry.
Rather than relying on your own sense of smell (when was the last time that you actually honestly realized that you had BO, rather than simply believing that you did because of discomfort?), apply some and ask someone you trust to give an honest answer.
SWMBO seems to like everything I wear, including The Veg, but she frequently comments on Elixer Black.

Ha! Something about all the BB&BW scents makes me want to like them but they end up smelling a little cheap and blobby.
I really like the Elixir Black and have received quite a few compliments while wearing it.
Well I think people lump in Bigelow with BBW own frags. Personally I think there is a big difference in quality between the two. Bigelow at least imo, is better smelling and lasts a bit longer.

online. I'm just not a 'cologne' kind of guy. Haven't worn any in years. I want to smell fresh, not fragrant. A light AS splash is all I need, but... getting back into the spirit of classic wet shaving, I thought I'd give something a try and Elixir Black is what I chose. I didn't have a clue if I'd like it and for all I know there might be many other fragrances I'd prefer. And well... first trial, eh... not bad. Second trial, not bad... and now, I'd say it's nice - pretty good/not bad at all.
