C&E Sandalwood Shaving Soap in stock on their website

I don't know if this is well known or not, but last night I was looking through the Crabtree & Evelyn site and when typing in Shaving Soap I found that they have the Sandalwood Shaving Soap in stock (I thought it was discontinued, but I'm not sure if it is back for good or if they just have some extra). It is in stock because I ordered one for $8.00.
If you just go through the site and to the shaving section it is not listed, but if you type in shaving soap it will display, or if you just search by scent and look in the sandalwood section it is there.

I am excited to get it, hopefully it works as well as the Nomad because I get really good results from it even though it isn't that popular of a soap.

Thanks,
J.

I stopped in my local C&E store the other day. Although they were out of all of their soaps, the clerks told me that they were certain that they were going to restock everything--including sandalwood--at the end of the summer. We'll see if that's correct of not, I guess.

C&E Australia has restocked sienna, nomad and sandalwood. The sweet almond is still not coming back

A good soap - an interesting alternative sandalwood scent, too. Sorta cinnamony, but good. Perhaps not the best lather out there but totally usable.

Just an update.

I got this soap in the other day and have used it twice and it is absolutely great. The scent is really good, not true sandalwood, but it has a nice woody base along with some other scents that result in a very nice aroma.
The lather is great for me, maybe even a little better than the Nomad.

And to me this soap is as good as DR Harris, Tabac, etc. (maybe not in ease of lather, but in the end result definately); and now everyone will think I am crazy for saying that, but for me personnally C&E just works, but as always YMMV.

Thanks,
J.

Then I say go for it! I know that C&E isn't talked about as highly as many other soaps, but I really do like it. I think if you spend just an extra minute lathering it and maybe use a little extra soap than you normally do some of the other high end soaps that you will enjoy it. I find it very moisturizing, and it provides a good dense cushion, and I have sensitive dry skin so it works out nicely for me. I get irritation from some of the other high end soaps because of some scents used in them, but C&E for whatever reason works good.
I will now shut up because I know that I am blabbing, but I am just happy I have a couple of good soaps that give me good shaves without irritation; and they smell great taboot.

Going to check that out. I'm addicted to Sandalwood.

I love the smell of the sandalwood, but the lather is average at best.

I knew there would be a little rain on my C&E parade  it was only a matter of time. But, that is okay, my face is wierd and I have finally found a working combo so I am happy!

I waited for months on a waiting list to get a refill of the Nomad that I use, and it just came in this week. Limited quantities, but my local store aside from those held in the back of the store for the waiting list is still sold out of all the soap refills. They just keep waiting for more to come.

No intention to rain on your parade - different soaps for different folks, I'm just commenting on my experience.
