Byblos Man Review

Did a search and didn't find anything. Anyone tried it? Picked up a sample vial of it in the checkout online. Should be here next week. Looks interesting:

Byblos Man Cologne by Byblos, Anne sophie chapuis designed this fresh and pleasantly aromatic scent . Released in 2006, it has top notes of pineapple, bergamot, mandarin and lemon. The middle notes are clove, cardamom, nutmeg and violet leaf. The bottom notes are amber, patchouli, vetiver and cedar.

Got the tester vial yesterday, giving it a wipe on the neck and wrist today. First impressions are that this is very subtle (read: weak) and i can barely smell it even now an hour later. I'll try and get it in an atomizer for a follow up review.

Definitely what i'd consider a "soapy" cologne. Clean and musty like Irish spring soap. Little bits of incense smell reminds me of an egyptian styled scent or an "oriental rug" store. Very interesting to say the least. This is not a young persons fragrance for sure... much more sophisticated.
