Bushy Eyebrows

My eyebrows get very bushy. My barber usually trims them when I get a haircut, but they usually need to be trimmed before it's time for a haircut. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Steve

I use a Wahl trimmer with the guard set on 3 once a week.

Ditto.
My hair is very light, and my brows are not "bushy", but they can get to be long, and every now and then a heavy dark one creeps in.
The heavy dark ones get pulled, and everything else gets "flushed off" at a non-curly level.

My eyebrows, if left unchecked for more than a few days, make me look like an extra in the movie Dune.

I have a small pencil type Panasonic trimmer with a medium and short comb attachment that runs on a single AA Battery.
I just put the comb on, run it through the eyebrows in the AM as part of the routine, (takes 20 seconds, break out to put away) and I'm good to go.

These can be had at just about any store, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS etc. for about 10 to 20 bucks or less.

Mine look a bit like R. Lee Ermey's in Mail Call on the History Channel and Anthony Davis from the UK Basketball team if left untouched. I trim them with a pencil trimmer and pluck the ones that would make a monobrow.

You buy a grooming set. It's a multi function tool to trim nose hair, side burns and eye brows. There is usually a special guard for each head/ tool. The piece in the middle (back) is the head for the eyebrown trimmer. There is a black plastic guard that will go over top to prevent you from shaving off your entire eyebrows. This is the set I have and can be found at walmart or target.

I am among the lucky and blessed . . . once a week SWMBO takes a Wahl trimmer, cleans up the back of my neck, eyebrows, and trims the grandpa hairs from my ears. She also whips up a hot lather for a neck shave, followed by a splash of Clubman!

I do it like my barber does. Put a comb down into the eyebrow, trim what pokes through with scissors. I need glasses to do this freehand with scissors, but, the glasses get in the way.The advantage for me is with the comb methodis is that I can do it with a comb and scissors without glasses, and no danger of poking my eye or trimming off too much. Plus I do not need an assistant or SWMBO.
Cheers,

go get your hair cut more often or just go in and ask for a trim. Some places will do a quick trim for free.

Same here, except I use a pair of clippers.

On this same note, does anyone know if eyebrows actually DO grow faster/thicker when you trim them regularly? It seems kind of odd, if true, since this does NOT apparently occur with hair on my head!! :S In other words, if I start trimming them with clippers regularly, are they going to go supersonic?? :O
